Book Signing at Fairytale Town

This popular Sacramento tradition continues to be the largest early childhood literacy event in and around the region. The 16th Annual ScholarShare Children’s Book Festival’s mission is to promote the imagination, education and creativity of children.

Admission to the event is FREE, thanks for ScholarShare.

In 2015, the Children’s Book Festival welcomed over 8,000 visitors over the course of two days.

In addition to the hands on activities around the park, there are nonstop presentations and storytelling performances by authors and illustrators on our outdoor Mother Goose Stage. This year the event will feature author Barbara Jean Hicks, author of the book Frozen: A Sister Like Me.

Lots of activities, sponsor booths and goodies for kids of all ages!
